ABOUT ME:

I'm a researcher-strategist who specializes in building tools for expert users — the kind of tools where getting it wrong means researchers lose months, and getting it right means science moves faster.

My work sits at the intersection of deep user insight and product execution. I don't just gather feedback and hand it off — I stay in the room until the decision gets made, and I am accountable for what ships. This bias toward action, combined with years of genuine relationship-building inside user communities, sets me apart from other researchers.

My background spans HCI, art history, and product research. I've worked across civic tech (City of Detroit), consumer health (Kaiser Permanente), b2b saas (Kaiser again), and computational biology at Biohub — always with the same north star: make the sophisticated accessible to the humans who need it most. I'm drawn to problems at the intersection of AI and user experience, especially where the stakes are high and the users are experts.

Currently, I lead UX research at Biohub, where I focus on platform strategy, single-cell data infrastructure, and bringing powerful scientific tools closer to the researchers who depend on them.

I'm interested in opportunities that blend rigorous user research with product strategy — especially in science, public sector, or other domains where thoughtful design meets meaningful impact.

Outside of work, I'm an architecture enthusiast, avid walker, and pet parent to Harpo (chihuahua mix) and Laemmle (cat).
